In 2017 the original model of the Golf Tour platform was founded in community with the idea that casual yet competitive golf could coexist with the busyness of everyday life. While all golfers were welcomed, the primary goal of bringing BIPOC golfers together for fun competitive rounds against one another was easily achieved through the collective love for the game. However, there was an apparent opportunity to create an experience that was deeper and more fulfilling than just submitting your score by the specified deadline. The original tour has evolved in size and scope of features that has led to a deeply immersive golf league experience that aims to feel as polished as the tour pros. In 2024 GOLF TOUR was established as a platform to serve any golfing community that has a desire to compete in a fun, professional, organized, and immersive way. With evolution as a core value, Golf Tour will continue to expand in ways that will look serve any and every golf experience.
